This symbol of healing is an effort on my part to visually convey the message of wholeness.

I feel the Lord revealed to me the insights concerning the symbol. Our daughter-in-law, Patrice Bartow, did the art work.

The symbol imparts the concept that the Triune God is the agent of healing. Also that it is by faith we receive and impart the blessings and message of healing.

It is my prayer the symbol of healing will help implant upon your mind and heart the essential aspects of the Spiritual Healing Ministry. May you believe and receive the Lord's wholeness for you and yours.

The following is my interpretation of the symbol. You may have other insights as you observe the symbol in the light of what I have written.

THE CIRCLE
The circle of the symbol represents God the Father. He is over all and desirous of extending His healing, love, and mercy to all. It is His very nature to extend His wholeness to us.
He is more willing to heal than we are often willing to accept His healings (Ps. 34:8, 40:5; 86:15; Matt. 5:45; Luke 11:13; 1 Pet. 5:7).

THE SHIELD
The shield of the symbol represents Faith. Faith is the gift of God and so vital for an effective ministry of healing.
Because of my effort to teach faith is a gift from God, the shield is touching the circle and is being presented by the hands of the Lord Jesus (Eph. 2:8, 9; Luke 17:5; Gal. 5:6; James 2:17; I John 5:4).

THE HANDS
The hands holding and offering the shield of faith represent the hands of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is giving to you the faith to believe He desires the very best for you. The hands speak of the truth that the Lord completely identified Himself with humanity and continues to do so (Luke 2:11; Matt. 25:40; Acts 9:4; 10:38; Phil. 2:5-8).

THE DOVE
The dove of the symbol represents the Holy Spirit. The healing gift, message, and ministry are of divine origin and power.
It is the Holy Spirit Who enables you to behold the love and mystery of the Lord's tender care (Luke 11:13, 24:49; Acts 1:8; Rom. 8:11; John 16:13.14:17).

THE HAND
The hand on the shield represents the one ministering. The hand is used to bestow a blessing upon the one for whom prayer is being offered. The hand issues forth from the hand of the Lord Jesus. It is touched by the dove which is symbolic of the power of the Holy Spirit working through the individual.
The hand is on the shield of faith and thus speaks of this vital ingredient. The shield is touching the circle which represents the Father. Thus the blessing is imparted in the Name of God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit!
